If you take away nothing else from this entry, take away this sentence, straight from CI's own procurement page: Conservation International generally does not issue open calls for proposals, and does not accept unsolicited proposals. That single line eliminates an entire category of effort that works reasonably well at IUCN or Expertise France and simply does not work here.
